Truly, is anyone else noticing that the commercials playing now are advertising products that will “keep your family safe” from “the possibility” of getting the virus.
Can someone please explain to me why businesses are so unethical? OMG, I am appalled by the blatant disregard for the situation that a company would use this to feed on the fears of the public to sell some unneeded product. Is it just me?
Is it just me or is there anyone else tired of being bombarded with so much information about the virus that I am not sure what is real and what I really need to do. I watch the news and it is so much information that I feel like it all melds together. I have stopped looking at the news and I have gone to the internet and I am talking to my sister who works in healthcare, to get the accurate information. Web MD, CDC web page, give the real truth.
Is it just me or does anyone else hate going out to go to the store in fear of watching the worse in some people. I have never thought that fear could be so bad that people would fight over toilet paper. When I first heard about this I thought I was in a movie. You know the one that showed the end of the world, an apocalypse, a zombie outbreak. The insanity of not having enough of anything.
Is this really happening? Is it just me? There is a golf course open so that a person does not miss out on their golf game. And there is a stay at home order to the point where you can rat on your neighbor, calling the police so that they will be ticketed for being out of compliance. Seriously??????
Oh yeah, then there is the car dealers, advertising that you can buy a new car and defer payment while you are not working. Is it just me or is that redundant? Let’s just buy a new car I couldn’t afford before the pandemic, but the dealers are giving cars away. They are there for us. Get the new car, but you can’t use it because there is a stay at home order! Just saying?
Is it just me or does anyone else take offense to companies using this “uncertain times” to reassure us that they are “here for us” even when they had no need for us before this. Other than to purchase their products. This is one of those things that is like a splinter in my foot. It is irritating. Look I get it, it is to reassure the public that companies are assisting to help. Here is the pat in the back. I know this sounds petty, I just get frustrated that companies have jumped in to promote during the “uncertain times!”
Is it just me or are we ready for this episode of the “Twilight Zone” to be over. I at least want to see Zombies!!!
Lunatic Fringe Forever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
